That is the "question of the day". From some of the recent reports, it sounds like many consumers have used the lower interest rates to refinance their homes, "tap into" the equity of those homes...and use the money to buy new cars, remodel, and have move $$$ available to spend.

So...the rates are becoming attractive to the average homeowner.
