G, Re:While TSMC Chairman Morris Chang said the downwards trend had ended, his forecasts for the July-September quarter indicated that recovery would be a slow climb. No recovery I can recall had the execs making Bullish forecasts about an upward move while business was still trolling around the nadir. They are always extremely cautious in their predictions and the upward move usually catches them offguard. This is not a prediction of what will happen this time by any means; merely an observation from my time invested in the sector. BK
