Give me a break! The morons at IBM didn't understand the implications of the operating system after 50 years in the business and allowed MSFT to supply the OS for the IBM PC. With the IBM name, MSFT's abominable operating system, and Apple's moronic willingness to take a 20% position in the market while charging premium hardware prices for their quality OS, MSFT gained a dominant position in PC OS with garbage software. They strengthened their position by vicious and illegal business practices and evolved their software so that it is not garbage anymore.
