Chuck,
Since you work for DBC, maybe you can give me a response to my concern. I have been a customer of DBC with Quotrek and Signal. I accepted the fact that Quotrek will be delayed and not very reliable in fast markets because it is delivered via FM. However, Signal via cable (at over $200/month) should be real-time, even in the morning. It isn't and what's worse is that bid/ask is often wrong in non-active stocks, which is most stocks.

A couple of tech support personnel have acknowledged that this is caused by a bandwidth limitation. Some data regularly gets lost. When this lost data happens to be "bid/ask change," the old bid/ask remains on my screen until a new bid/ask change is sent. When I complained about this, one tech support guy asked me for the symbol that I suspected had the wrong bid/ask. Not knowing why he asked, I told him and a few seconds later, he said, "It should be correct now, I've resent it."
I laughed and asked him if he expected me to call him everytime I wanted a correct bid/ask. He said that's all he could do and couldn't give a time frame of when the delivery infrastructure would be upgraded to handle the necessary bandwidth.

So, my question to you is: When can I expect "real" real-time quotes and when will the bandwidth be increased?

Thanks in advance
