I finally did what I should have done last week. Ditched my source and went straight to the horse's mouth.

Got on the horn with CFO Micheal Heibert.

The company will discuss the continuing strong demand for the dental laser in the quarterly earnings report that is expected to be released in July. They will have sold 25 lasers that will be booked in this quarter.

They have a "pretty substantial backlog". The only bottleneck in selling more than 400 lasers this year is scarcity of parts from their suppliers. Their suppliers were notified well in advance that FDA approval was likely, but the suppliers could not commit resources to ramp until it became a fact. The suppliers are scrambling to ramp to meet the demand, and it is expected that they will be in a better position by Q's 3 and 4.

It takes 80 man hours to assemble one laser, and they forsee no problems in adding and training additional personnel as required. They have plenty of room to handle a bigger manufacturing ramp.

The training classes have been filling up nicely. They are also trying to add more dentists as trainers.

There will be some news releases before the July earnings report. There are some positive developments with some of their other products, as well.
