<< Any ideas on why the stock (LPTHA) and units (LPTHU) do not trade in unison (price movement)? >>

They generally do. If either the warrants or units start moving up a lot the MM's will raise their bid for the Class A, or vice-versa. Sometimes there is a slight lag. Of course it may look like there is a disparity if one has traded on the bid and the other on the ask. Considering how wide the spread can get the units could look lower because the last trade was on the bid while they class A was on the ask. (I hope that made sense)

<< Do you have any new info or feelings on this companies prospects??? >>

If I had any new insight, I would share it with the thread. If you want to get a copy of their latest annual report and the original prospectus you can get one free at:

<< They are listed as having only 21 employees??? >>

I think it's closer to 25 now. They stated in their 10K that they were planning on hiring an additional 4 employees in the next 12 months. That was almost a year ago.

<< Their prospects for developing GRADIUM based fiber optics seem to be very speculative at this time. >>

I guess I don't quite understand what you mean by 'GRADIUM based fiber optics'. Gradium lenses could be used in systems that enhance the carrying capacity of fiber optics but they are not involved in the manufacture of fiber optic cable.

<< Is their any estimates out their about theoretical cost reductions from using the proposed product in infrastructure? >>

I think you are asking how much money will be saved by de-multiplexing
using Gradium lenses as opposed to the standard way of doing things. Unfortunately I haven't found that out yet. Lightpath claims that there will be performance advantages as well as cost reductions so I don't know.

<< I'm not trying to be critical... >>

Go ahead and be critical! That can only be useful.
