For the more astute, long-term Laforza "..investors.." laforza.com (...others, please ignore...) here's a few little tidbits I recently picked up along the way.
One of the questions I asked the Boss recently related to whom they might invite to come see the debut in Pebble Beach (Carmel) I.e.: AutoWeek and/or other motor-mag persona perhaps....
As it turns out, one of the people on Dave Hop's list of acquaintances just happens to be that fellow who does the AutoWeek magazine thing.... autoweek.com Another known quantity in his "..inventory of contacts.." are the folks at Motor Trend. I was kind of hoping for a connection at "..MotorWeek..", the Saturday-morning Public TV "..thang.."; but no joy on that one..!! None-the-less, Motor Trend sure ain't no small taters, aye..!! motortrend.com
(..Homework assignment for all cert-bearing Laforza-ites - start bugging MotorWeek out there in Owings Mills, MD and make sure they know who and what a Laforza is..!! )
Laforza, in its earlier efforts, has been mentioned and/or reviewed in AutoWeek. I believe the next major push in that direction will be to actually lend them a unit - and let them bang it around a bit; for a full-blown test.
The more you get to know about Laforza, the more you understand how serious Dave and troops are about this effort.
A CORRECTION: Although stockpoint.com clearly shows 15.1MM as the Outstanding Share count (..last time I looked..), Dave says the total is closer to 50MM. Compared to a lot of OTCBBs/Pinks that's still a pretty small number.
