Is that enough to get me to buy a new pc? The ones I have run the programs that are out there just fine. I'd buy my daughter a laptop if she were going to college this year, "probably", but other than that, I can't think of a reason that I have to buy a new pc, and the newest one I have we bought in early 1999 I think.
