This thread goes on and on about what otexf WILL do, what they MIGHT do, how deals SHOULD bring in revenue. Where's the beef? Continued losses quarter after quarter. Always discussion of What's to come. Let's see it. The days of "its ok for web companies to lose money" are long gone.
I read about the Motorola deal. The data they released on their earnings call said they booked $800K, then I read that it was worth $6 million. Which is it? Where is the other $5.2 million? Is it going to show up next quarter? If so, does that mean that the 60,000 seats (at Motorola) are not actually installed? Doesn't FASB define when you book revenue?
What are the forecasts saying for going into the black and to STOP the spending of capital on expenses? Did you notice the downward change in their cash position last quarter (even after they generated $6 million from selling their ownership stake in Yahoo! - which, by the way dropped the use of their product for the Alta Vista engine).
Good company, good products, when will they sell software for a profit rather than the fun of it? When they do, the gain in the stock we have been waiting for will arrive!!
Signed: Waiting, but less patiently. |
