I understand that the new GDP will give the highest weighting to the first month of consumer spending in each quarter, except for the fourth quarter, of course, when consumer spending in December will be given a 90% weighting. <ggg> This can be changed, at the discretion of the Secretary of Commerce, to place greater emphasis on any month in which the Nasdaq rises by 20% or more from the previous month.
