You forgot to bold the next two lines, I wonder why?

"There were actually a disproportionately high number of Athlon and Duron notebooks (and, interestingly enough, they were among the most feature packed of the notebooks on display)."

You keep pointing out that the ASP is so much better on laptops anyway. This is more important than the lack of desktops at CompUSA. Screwdriver shops sell a whole lot more desktops than CompUSA, but no where near as many laptops.
