I hadn't noticed that VRTX' munch of ABSC got completed during my trip. You guys gotta help me on this stuff: Think how much AFFX Trickle could have bought!

Anyhow, since VRTX is not a trickle company, it is time to take Trickle's first loss . . .

>>As a result of the acquisition, Aurora shareholders will receive 0.62 shares of Vertex common stock for each share of Aurora common stock. Cash will be provided for fractional shares.<<

300*.62=186 shares of Vertex. It is currently trading at $42.30. $42.3*186=$7867.80. Less $13 for commission yields proceeds of $7854.80.

So this will be added to cash and ABSC taken off the books.

SIGH

Cheers, Tuck
