Bush joked yesterday that his life would be easier if he were a dictator. Ha ha. Funny, that's the impression I got of he and Cheney when they took office, trying to immediately dominate both houses of congress, crush liberals and disrespect moderates, even though he won on a shady technicality and lost the popular vote. As if he had a mandate from anyone to do that. Mister Work Both Sides Of The Aisle came off as a brown shirt attacking democracy, the environment, looking the other way while his buddies gouged the whole world on oil, gas, NG and electrical power and giving them all big tax breaks while he was at it. So the rich got richer, everyone else got screwed and he sent hundreds of billions back to Texas before anyone could blink an eyelash. Actually his buddies got started before the election. Also, the right-wing mobs in Miami-Dade reminded me of Nazi thugs as well scaring public servants from re-counting votes in order to delay them. And speaking of "Delay" there's another Nazi wannabe. If they could get away with it, they would. I think we saw their true colors those first few months. Cheney reminded me of Goerring. But instead of Jews his target was (and still is) the environment.
