You stated that you believe that the market for additional storage will remain strong. The word storage is a bit ambigous. Quantum reported lower earnings and Quantum is a storage stock. Quantum also has increasingly been competing in the high volume, low speed, 800meg-2gig capacity market. The margins in this market is very thin. On the other hand, the very high-speed, high capacity area of the storage market continues to see good margins for companies like Seagate. Seagate's Barracuda II drives haven't seen very much price erosion, and are the drives of choice for Servers.
