Be serious Rambus had no way to force Intel to do smthg. Intel did and actually do support Rambus because it is the only realistic technology for the foreseeable future. Rambus already talks about 9.6 G generation i believe Intel with the 845 is only responding to the OEMs, wishing such a solution for the low end market.
