So I guess I am puzzled by your use of the curved lines. The true answer is that that particular charting tool only offers the curved line Linear Regression option. It is basically a visual of the Elliot Wave theory predictions shown in advance without the need to hand calculate these probable reversal areas. The upper line is the over-bought area, the lower line is the over-sold area and the middle line is a trend line which can be viewed as a medium term support and resistance area.
