Hi Jon, I have been focusing on the wireless end that uses high bit transmissions from one line of site fixed point to another fixed point.

So a large wire would feed the wireless transmitter, that would send a wireless signal to tower in a distant or line of site obstructed neighborhood, the signal would be converted to ADSL and distributed through out the neighborhood over copper. From their it could enter the home as wired ADSL and or be retransmitted through less powerful wireless, to allow mobile access through out the home and yard.
