Algore is a dishonest politician and lies to the American people, as do most of them. Personally I couldn't stand the guy, but that is because I find him physically repugnant. His voice alone nearly brings on the gag reflex. His placating demeanor is a big turn off for many, and he is the epitome of boring. Now, I know none of this is suppose to matter, but you know what, it does.
What REALLY does it for me though is his Socialism. Yes, he is the opposite of what I believe is just what America needs to remain the strongest, wealthiest and most powerful nation on Earth. IMO his presidency, should that horrible event have taken place, would have diminished all of those realities and we would be still on the slippery slide to homogenizing our greatness into a share all, be all, kumbya mentality.
Don't misunderstand. I hold GW up to strict standards, as I do all men. If he screws it up (this is personal and my interpretation of "screw up" is different to yours) I will be the first to criticize, until then don't even shove algore in my face. The guy is a loser.
As to my take on the Presidents comment about the economy today ie. "it's not as strong as it should be." Glad I'm not being lied to.
