Have been struggling with the math, but if consumer spending is two-thirds of GDP (I think that's the figure, or at least used to be before today), and consumer spending grew at a raw 2.0% in the second quarter (I think -- 1.4% in April, .4% in May, .2% in June), that means the rest of the economy was essentially flat, right? I can't believe it was that good!

I hear silver is looking like an interesting place to hunt for bargains. Am looking at FCX too. Don't want to part with the last bit of my MO, but its uptrend just disappeared on the weekly chart.
