The only obligations that I can think of that I would consider natural in the same sense as natural rights would be

1 - To respect the rights of others and

2 - Our obligation to provide for our children. Our children and the future of our society depends on there care and wellbeing, and we created them and put them in a vulnerable and dependent position. In a sense this is not a basic pre-existing natural duty as much as it is an obligation that we have brought apon ourselves through our actions, like our obligation to fix or pay for property that we have inadvertently damaged but with the difference that our obligation to our children is normally more important to society. I suppose a clear cut distinction between these types of obligations by examining the hypothetical of a woman who has a child as the result of rape. If the obligation was purely one of responsibility for her actions then she should have no responsibility here. If it is rather viewed as a natural duty then she would still be seen as having an obligation to her child.

I haven't given much thoughts to the idea of "natural obligations". I'll think about it some more. Any development of the idea you might like to make would be appreciated.
