Thank you for telling me about these farm creatures, guys. Rose, that must've been a terrible sight to see, though I know that death is a regular event on farms. I'd find it really tough, though.

Another hen question: this little banty egg had no yolk in it, I swear. How could that be?

Bill's still alive and no worse for wear for having eaten it, though. :)
