That's an ugly profile. I'll have to be careful of it. Check this out, Pete Hamil and several others are after this guy to write a book. He had us in stitches tonight. For example, in the early 1960s there was this woman named Theo XXXXXX who was pretty, wore short skirts, and did breaking news. At the same time there was a Photog named Walter XXXXXX who was award-winning. The entire Daily News was big on going to Costello's bar and at 4 PM the place was zooming with typewriters clacking away. Theo was on earphones, taking in stories from field reporters and Walter came in hammered and said "Hi Theo". She said "Hi Walter" as she was typing away..... He said "I wanna (put your favorite oral sex remark here)". She said "Not now, Walter, I'm on a deadline". I'll telya, if this guy ever writes a book on the NY Daily News you have to read it. We were laughing for an hour.
