The Washington Post guys have sent me a couple of supportive emails. They are all over it. They didn't need me to tell them though. Lieberman's investigation is proof of that. They need more concrete paper trail proof to get it past the new Ben Bradlee but they will have it eventually. This is the next Watergate, only bigger in terms of dollars and danger to the air we breathe, water we drink and oceans we feed from. It's the biggest ripoff of public and private money since the S+L debacle. It's also proof positive we need serious campaign finance reform and tough environmental regulations. Kyoto is only a first step toward a cleaner world despite overpopulation problems. We can do it we just have to put the right people in office who aren't bought and paid-for by pollutors.
