We believe, by a very long shot, we are the primary vendor in that relationship, for this 10 gigabit Internet backbone,'' Acra said
So if I were to read the fine print correctly, Juniper is STILL not a direct supplier to France's Telecom. Even more so NOT for bacbone routing. This to me would be some sort of OEM agreement with Ericsson. Cisco press release indicates that Cisco did not have to partner (OEM agreement) with LU, NT or ALA of the worlds to win this deal. This is what is really important which to you may be not.
Again if you had spend a little more time reading my original post, I had specifically mentioned about Juniper losing to Cisco in core backbone routing solution. That to me means Juniper losing to Cisco where it was hurting Cisco the most.
I hope this clear things and my logic behind reasoning. Unlike others, I almost always try to do my homework before posting something. It helps me and in the process other if they choose to read it carefully.
Got to read press releases and also interpret it right.
If not, then somebody who cares will sometimes do it.
