I suppose there has been a lot of that. What I wonder in this connection and this may have been posted here sometime is WHAT IS the extra cost of rdram over pc133?

Do we know the die size of one relative to the other? That would give a good first indication. I suppose the die size of a DDR is hardly bigger than sdram.

The other extra costs is supposedly cost of test equipment. About how much investment are we talking here per chip and is this very long testing (rdram vs sdram)?
