MIM says Q4 boosts annual production
au.dailynews.yahoo.com

SYDNEY, July 27 (Reuters) - Miner MIM Ltd said on Friday strong operating performances in the June quarter had helped it post increased annual production of coal, copper and zinc.

In its fourth quarter report, MIM said Mount Isa copper production rose in the quarter, taking annual output to 273,178 tonnes, up from 245,878 tonnes a year ago.
............................................................................................................................
Annual copper in concentrate and gold output rose at MIM's 51 percent-owned Ernest Henry mine in Queensland, while zinc in concentrate output was up 22 percent at Mount Isa due to higher ore grades and the George Fisher mine and better recovery. Lead-silver bullion production was higher in the June quarter, but annual output was down, reflecting the December half refurbishment.
