Valued Members:

Tri-West has finally restored partial use of the database. We are at present only
able to send e-mail and faxes. The staff requirements for two-way
communication are not presently available. The secured messaging system is not
operational and we have no fixed date for its completion. All communication with
TWIC membership will be by periodical (once or twice a week) newsletters
answering the most frequently asked questions. The TWIC new investment
program offered in April 2001 was not instituted prior to the closing date of April
27, 2001. The managing banking institution cancelled the offering. All funds
intended for that program have been placed in the regular TWIC program until
new programs are offered in early 2002. TWIC's intention of resuming full
operation in July has been postponed temporarily due to the suspension of
operations of our main banking institution. We have been advised privately that
the problem is temporary. We are monitoring the situation through our lawyers
and will update the membership as further information becomes available to us.
It has been brought to our attention that many others have been promoting
other websites, bulletin boards, conference calls, and meetings worldwide in the
name of TWIC and myself. TWIC's communication with the membership will be by
direct e-mail or fax only. TWIC does not sanction or participate in any of the
above activities. Please monitor the Tri-West website (www.triwestinvest.com)
for true updates and information.
We have initiated an advisory board to help direct Tri-West during this recovery
period so member concerns are monitored. The Tri-West Advisory Board has
suggested that the Tri-West website (www.triwestinvest.com) offer the
members a means of participation in the decisions made by the board in
members' interests. This should be implemented soon and members will be
notified by newsletter. The advisory board will be able to post questions to
which our members will be able to respond.
I wish to take this opportunity to express my sincere regret on the temporary
suspension of TWIC activity and the hardship that has been placed on the club
membership as well as Club staff and management. I am confident that TWIC, as
before, will recover and be as profitable as ever in the years to come. Thank you
all for your patience and understanding.
