As jackoff has briefly shown, quibbling over the test is the core of the extremely effective weapon they have used for forty years to cheapen the democratic process. Your test is an ideal. Mine would be far simpler, but I guarantee it would reduce liberal turnout by enough to run them out of Washington:
1) Check one name on the list below who is a candidate in the current presidential election (names on the presidential ballot are then listed along with Mickey Mouse, and a check box beside each. Turnout in Palm County, FL immediately goes to zero).
2) Check the name of the current president of the United States (the president's name, and Donald Duck, are each listed, with a check box. There goes Philadelphia).
3) What state do you live in? (The applicant's state is listed, as well as Hungary and Byzantium, each with a check box).
There are ten million Gore voters who go zero-for-three on the above test. Of course, eight million would flunk for not showing up, since they didn't exist, or died before November, 2000... |
