I have no problem with the particular case you mentioned. I suspect the woman had other reasons that she did not convey to you. But even if that's the criterion it's a reason. Forcing all Americans to think more and learn is a positive force for literacy and informed participation. I don't see the negatives. tom watson tosiwmee
