>>I can buy US Treasury bonds directly in my Fidelity account.<<

You're right, I meant a money market type fund that only buys treasuries. So far all the ones I've seen only promise to invest a certain percentage in treasuries and say that they "may" invest the rest in treasuries.

I don't want to give up the ability to trade stocks, and I don't like having to pay a transaction fee not only to buy and sell stocks but also to get out of the money market into treasuries. This may be an impossible dream, I don't know. What's wrong with cash, real cash, the green stuff, why do my "cash reserves" have this warning?

>>Risks
An investment in the fund is not insured or
guaranteed by the Federal Deposit
Insurance Corporation or any other
government agency. Although the fund
seeks to preserve the value of your
investment at $1.00 per share, it is possible
to lose money by investing in the fund. The
rate of income will vary from day to day,
generally reflecting changes in short-term
interest rates. <<
