moorso,

First I want to say I like your charts : )--and especially the opportunity to view the Naz and Sox in realtionship to the Dow. Nice work : )

As for the font problem--I have not experienced that one--although I usually prefer to make separate charts. I primarily use the embedded ones when I want to compare a few indicators. I have recently switched to Office 2001--and my Mac OS and Excel version is somewhat different than the PC versions.

It may be that your fonts are reverting to a 'default' setting each time. Try this--in the upper toolbar --go to 'format'--select 'cells' and under the 'font' box see if there is a 'Normal font' box that is checked.
If so--uncheck the box and see if that solves it.

Another thought --if you have a lot of data in your chart--you might want to modify the number of days btween date labels. You can find that by going to 'format'--'axes'--and then set the humber of categories between tick marks.

Excel is a challenge at times--but is a fascinating application to work with. I think most only tap a small percentage of it's wonderful potential.

This Excel website can be slow loading--but is a good place to go to troubleshoot--ask questions--and find information:

Good luck : )
Joanne
