Yes, though I'm not very familiar with his history. I read a collection of Father Brown stories in college. An innocent discovery while browsing in the library. :)

Father Brown seems to get a bit shrill and preachy in the later stories. That's my recollection, at least. Kind of turned me off.

I never got into detective stories much, which is odd because I would think I would love them. I've read Doyle's Holmes stories, which are fun reading.
