A Great Post

Hello Richard/Everyone
Found some time and I thought I would browse at commenting here - kind of like going back to the old neighborhood.

I have not been in touch with oil and gas exploration activity for almost two years - let alone the whole subject itself.

I see a lot of companies are gone, gobbled up by the larger companies. Companies in this industry are always on the prowl.

At this stage in the ever changing operating environment, there are quite a few basics to be aware of. These would be the underlying factors behind a company's operation. Nothing is automatic - which one might think after the past 2-3 years of developement in this industry.

I would have a few concerns at this point. I don't want to elaborate on them at this point - not the objective of this message. But I will - if you are interested in my two cents worth.

I just wanted to say hello and see if anyone has made any money here. Has anyone been monitoring my listings that I established by category a few years ago.

I know I was right on about O&G pricing and most important, the timing as to when to take profits - I believe I said take profits after most annual report releases for year 2000, which would of been late April 2001.

In regard to specific companies - one best be prepared to be very selective in their choices of investments following 1st Qtr reports of this year. Again, will comment if you want to hear me.

The message you posted of which I am replying to was a great post. I hope people use it to their advantage. There will be some nice success stories for companies mentioned in that writeup. One should monitor these companies - even if private.

Well that's it for this time. I enjoyed this subject and the people who were here two years ago. Just thought I would jump in and let you know that the korner guy still is kicking and still has two cents worth to give.

Hope to hear from a few of you.
