Eric:

A seed is a radioactive iodine implant the size of a small grain of rice. A man is put up in lithotomy position(female gyn exam position)
and the urologist inserts these seeds via hollow needles able to accomomodate their size using radiologic guided technique. The radiation is localized to the prostate region or where the tumor is without all the accompanying structures getting dosed. Seeds remain spent inside the prostate then. Tkis is called brachytherapy and is not new by any means. Another company called Theragenics(THRX) uses radioactive palladium and recently inked a deal with JNJ to market the product. I recently owned NASI, the company they inked the deal with,
and currently own MNTR which I actively trade. There is European competition in this market as well. Any further questions are welcome.
