Orchid Mix soil is available at Home Depot or Orchard Supply in bags.

Contrary to popular belief, Orchids are the easiest plants to grow. They require almost no care...and are very hardy.

For good blooms you need to fertilise them weakly & weekly.

And oh, they prefer crowded pots, unlike normal plants they bloom better if the roots are confined, so don't move them to huge pots...they won't flower as profusely....i took them from 2 gallon to 15 gallon pots in the first year, they refused to flower for the next 2 years....
