Pray tell, HOW did Al Bore plan on pushing "the treaty through regardless of the Senate disapproval"? Was he going to beg them? Try to shame them? Threaten to veto all their bills? Threaten to campaign against all of them? Have troops invade the Senate chamber with orders to shoot any Senator who voted against the bill? What if the JCS refused to issue the order? Their oath is to the Constitution, not to Al Gore. I eagerly await your boneheaded response.
