Big-ticket investment decisions depend more on longer term rates which saw their lows about three months ago.

I might add, businesses will need a more compelling reason than "cheap" interest costs to begin borrowing again. I keep looking for anything in short supply and I can't seem to find it. ie, lack of sufficient housing supply.

So, what's business gonna do with all that cheap money?
