Hi, elmat - What a post! "CDMA systems have one peculiarity that does not affect GSM, IS-136, or iDEN. As the number of subscribers using a particular site goes up, the range of that site goes down." Is this true? I have never seen this fact in print before. I have seen many references to "soft" degradation of CDMA systems as they approach maximum usage, but this reference is to something entirely different. To what does the term "site" refer? I assume it means that the range decreases in any given cell approaching maximum usage. Regards, Jim
