Gottfried,

If you hear of a dog/flea thread, please let me know. For the past 15 years I've had indoor/outdoor cocker spaniels [I have 3 beloved ones now]. I finally figured out [long story] how to control the flea problem without spraying the house and the yard. It's been over a year now since I've sprayed.

But get this - - > in just the past few weeks I've developed a big-time SCORPION problem - from not having sprayed [I assume]. So now my problem isn't fleas, its SCORPIONS! So today, I'm going to spray.

I don't know much about scorpions, or what their natural predators are. Could there be some relationship between scorpions and fleas in that one controls the other? Or some type of imbalance in the their ecological environment? I don't have a clue. I got on the Internet last night to look into scorpions, and hooked into one site talking about raising them for pets. Can you imagine that? That's not what I needed to hear!

This is a "KOOKY 'ole world" isn't it? <g>
