nForce seriously delayed?

See this article by x-bit labs:

"NVIDIA nForce to Be Redesigned [7:10 am] Rat

Although NVIDIA claimed that they will easily cope with the integrated mainboard chipset since their experience in the graphics field is very rich and they have already dealt with very complicated chips, the things turned out absolutely different. However, during the launching of the first Crush chipset, NVIDIA has already faced some unexpected problems. MCP South Bridge yields turned out much lower than NVIDIA had expected. As a result the cost of the relatively expensive Crush chipsets as a whole was supposed to be very high. That is why according to this info, NVIDIA is now working on the Crush chipset redesign.

To tell the truth, the situation turned out so serious that NVIDIA has to alter some of its features. As a result, the final Crush version may differ greatly from the initially announced product. The only thing on the upcoming chipsets redesign we can now state for sure touches upon nForce 220 (Crush11). It will have no Dolby Digital 5.1 sound: there will be AC’97 sound instead. However, this is not the end yet. We assume that NVIDIA may wish to remove the network controller as well.

Some changes will be undoubtedly introduced in Crush12, however, no additional info is available so far.

In the meanwhile NVIDIA claims that the final Crush version will start sampling in the second half of August."
