Oliver; your right about her being speculation; I picked her up speculating on the cash she has on hand, which is enough to buy back all of her outstanding shares and still have money to burn, so I speculate someone will tender some sort of offer in the near future, I could be wrong. She does not fit the value investing style at all, and I'm not hyping her, my speculation is a very modest one. <G> I'v really been more in bonds than stocks , and still am, as I don't fancy myself as much of a stock picker..I have tried a few mutual funds..and made a little..but have since pulled back out of them..as the market looks high , now even though I picked mutual finds that were clasified by morning as vaule type funds, when I got their top holdings and looked at them why they sure looked high priced to me..so I came out..and have a few dollars just sitting in the Money Market now wondering what to do, bonds went up and interest down but I may just go back to bonds. I did pick up some HGGR yesterday, if you have time look at it, from what I could see it has real good book value. I might exit it if you see it as risky..as for Aimm..if no one makes a bid on her before long I will exit..I don't see her as real risky in the short term, because of her cheap price..and cash on hand..and I don't intend to speculate on her for long. I do think HGGR may fit the value modle. Jim |
