Dear Elmer:

It took Intel years to get dual bus 8 ways and they ended up purchasing a company to get one that worked. A bus only gets you so far. The disadvantages of a bus are obvious. Once you go above 4 way, Intel is in the same boat as AMD. AMD has solved it (combining two separate links or busses) faster than Intel (and did it in house) and with that out of the way, the next steps will be easier.
