She, it is a situation that can easily lead to abuse, and even when not abusive, there is often plenty of resentment directed at the "petted" children. As someone who got crap just because I was smart and inadvertently made some students look bad, I can say that the playground is a highly competitive place, full of resentment and barely suppressed violence, without stirring the pot unnecessarily.......
