A friend of mine recently told me about a friend of his who is looking for investors for his software company. It purports to be an ASP model to compete with Ariba, but targeted at small to medium companies. This seems like a silly idea with 90 vendors currently in the space, but maybe the segment is still looking for the right solution? Any insight from this esteemed group would be valued. Thx.
