Richard, I humbly disagree with your hypothesis. It's been my experience following this thread for some time that during periods of great uncertainty, the posting activity diminishes greatly, especially among the posters I like to keep track of the most. It does stand to reason, that when the market and charts are sending mixed signals...I believe the better traders are most likely looking for some conclusive sign of imminent direction. These are not the types who continuously blather their opinion of the day, but rather need something better than a mere opinion to hang one's hat onto. Until the market breaks one way or the other...this great thread will most likely be sparse for great posts.
