That list is printing out right this minute.

I've seen, and agree with, some of these movies, and a LOT of the Chinese ones.

A Japanese movie that doesn't appear, and is one of my favorite movies of all time, is After Life.

I had a PM exchange with Gaugie about Shall We Dance when I'd just seen it and was still in its considerable thrall and he and N both thought it was a 'simple,' or 'slight' movie, in which, surprisingly, I wrote an entire, I now see, academic essay about that movie. If you promise not to laugh (it is so earnest and analytical that it seems like a school essay, it's embarrassing; but I stand by every word), i'll post it, i saved it in Clutter, it seems.

It will make everyone want to see the movie. Shall I go ahead and make myself look foolish?

Thank you so much for that very long and excellent list.
