Actually I believe you are.

If the Naz falls 200 points pray tell what do you think will be up? Now maybe there will be a stock or two, but I doubt you could guess them.

Don Green once told me (and I thought he was silly) was that 60% of a stocks performance was related to what the market did, 30% to the sector it was in and 10% to the stock itself.

I may not have the % correct but it is not the % that is important IMHO it is the concept. Yes, there are stocks that vastly differ from this but usually that is news related, or if a certain stock happens to botom early etc. Or a select set of stocks that for whatever reason just do not have any historical correlation with the Naz.

Looking back, it seems to me that Don has it right.
If the Naz drops even 100 points, not much will be holding up to that other than some obsuure issues not many have even heard of.

So .....
Do not tell me that QQQ performance does not matter.
