You forget that to Solon, not only are babies just smudges of sperm, but people are just smudges of protoplasm, and killing them is nothing major. They're just a collection of cells, after all. And since there is no God, they can't have souls. Scientifically, there's no difference between killing an adult person, a baby, an unborn baby, or a spider. All just collections of cells.

I have never said that babies were just smudges of sperm, nor that people were just smudges of protoplasm, notr have I ever advocated killing anyone. I am possibly far more wary and careful about injuring any form of life than you are. It is one thing to argue from emotion as you often do; it is quite another to blather lies and transparent insults. I had thought you were growing up a bit lately, but I was wrong. For you to claim that I consider killing babies and people "nothing major", tells this thread far more about you than it does about me. I wonder what it is about your caring and concern that makes these qualities more palpable in you than in the pregnant woman that must search her heart, and live with her decision. I wonder what makes it any of your business? You seem to despise the decisions women make. Why? Perhaps if you would say why, I could feel a bit of compassion--to offset your apparent bitterness and disdain.
