Agreed. The article spends time mostly looking at lowering "P" as a method of bringing P/E back into line and no real mention of "E" rising to reduce the ratio. Much of the meat axe work has been announced, but like the FED rate cuts, it is going to take some time to show what it's going to do for the earnings picture. The Q's seem to have held up reasonably well at the $40ish level. That's quite a bit better than the April lows. Guess we'll have to wait and see. Best regards, Tom
