One should add up add production and compare it to production (apples-to-apple), then do the same for hedging (oranges-to-oranges), then make the comparison. Production appears a bit up so far, hedging down, therefore net supply may well be down. I have only claimed production is not dropping and have been correct so far. Meanwhile, demand looks weak and I have seen estimates of down 3% for 2001, about a 120mt drop. Status quo is being maintained.
